Gallery 6: Knowledge Heritage II

This gallery displays the kiswah of the Ka'aba (ornate brocade cloth) as the main highlight which is closely related to Hajj pilgrimage (the fifth pillar of Islam) and the curtain of the tomb of the Prophet ﷺ as well as a collection of Islamic manuscripts in various fields of religious knowledge, writen in Arabic and Persian as a personal collection of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.

This manuscript portrays life in Brunei Darussalam in the 1930s, under the reign of Sultan Ahmad Tajuddin Akhazul Khairi Waddin, the 27th Sultan of Brunei. This manuscript is writen in Malay and contains information about Brunei Darussalam's history, education, economy, and administration.
