Hajah Nur Kamilah binti Haji Ismail was promoted to the position of
Curator of Archaeology on 14th December 2021 and appointed as the Head of Research
and Services Division at Balai Khazanah Islam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah.
Previously, she held the position of Archaeology Officer (11th May 11 2015 – 13th December 2021)
and Archivist (20th January 2014 – 10th May 2015) at the Museums Department, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.
She also served as a volunteer at the Archaeology and Monument Section at the Museums Department from 10th April 2012 to 18th January 2014.
She completed her Bachelor of Science degree with Honours in Archaeology from Durham University, United Kingdom in 2010 and In 2012,
she completed her Master of Science degree in Archaeological Materials from the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom.
