His Excellency Lawrence Wong, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance of the Republic of Singapore, with his spouse, Madam Loo Tze Lui and the accompanying delegation made a working visit to the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Islamic Treasury Hall (BKISHHB).

The Entourage was also joined by His Excellency Teo Chee Hean  Senior Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security of the Republic of Singapore; Her Excellency Indranee Thurai Rajah, Minister in the Prime Minister's Office, Second Minister for Finance, and Second Minister for National Development; His Excellency Dr. Koh Poh Koon, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Sustainability and Environment and Ministry of Manpower; His Excellency Mohamad Zaqy, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Manpower; His Excellency Tan Kiat How, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Communications and Information and Ministry of National Development.

The arrival of H.E. Lawrence Wong as well as the entourage are welcomed by The Honourable Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Retired) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Minister of Defence II, and the Chairman of the Advisory Board of BKISHHB. Also present to welcome the group was The Honourable Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Hj Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Hj Awang Othman Minister of Religious Affairs, and the Deputy Chairman of the Advisory Board of BKISHHB; and Dr. Haji Awang Mohammed Hussain bin Pehin Penyurat Haji Awang Ahmad, the Director of BKISHHB.

The visit began with a short briefing from Dr. Haji Awang Mohammed Hussain bin Pehin Penyurat Haji Awang Ahmad, followed by the signing of a memorabilia sheet by H.E. Lawrence Wong.

H.E. Lawrence Wong also received a book on BKISHHB from The Honourable Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Hj Awg Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Hj Awang Othman, before proceeded to the exhibition gallery and ended with the visit to the Conservation Management Laboratory.
