Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University (UNISSA) along with participants and presenters from the Borneo Islamic International Conference (KAIB) visited the Exhibition Gallery at Balai Khazanah Islam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (BKISHHB) yesterday evening.
Present at the event was Professor Dr. Zaenuddin Hudi Prasojo from the Pontianak State Islamic Religious Institute (IAIN) together with the entourage of 80 people, of whom intended to explore the artefacts of Islamic civilisation displayed at Balai Khazanah Islam, as well as to visit the various tourist attractions in Brunei Darussalam.
Professor Dr. Zaenuddin shared his contentment of the efforts of Brunei Darussalam with the support from His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mui’zzaddin Waddaulan Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in establishing Balai Khazanah Islam as an institute that is rich with knowledge, culture and value in the South East Asian region. Apart from this, Professor Dr. Zaenuddin also expressed his content at the efforts of Brunei Darussalam to appreciate Islamic history, to implement an advanced knowledge, and finally to be able to compete with other nations.
In relation to this, the presence of KAIB in Brunei Darussalam also aimed to hold the 15th Borneo Islamic International Conference with the cooperation with UNISSA at the Plenary Hall, International Convention Centre (ICC), Brunei Darussalam.
