Abdul Hafiz bin Asbol has been serving at the Balai Khazanah Islam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (BKISHHB) since 1 April 2021 as a Executive Officer.
At the beginning of his tenure with BKISHHB, he was appointed to lead the Administration Unit under the Corporate Affairs Division. Subsequently, on 27 June 2026, he was entrusted with the leadership of the Finance and Revenue Division, where he is responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and ensuring the efficient operation of BKISHHB in alignment with the organisation’s objectives, policies, and strategic direction.
Abdul Hafiz holds a Master of Islamic Finance and a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Studies, both awarded by Universiti Brunei Darussalam.
Among his notable contributions is the development of the Gallery Service Scheme for the Balai Khazanah Islam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah. This framework has been recognised as a model that could be adopted by other government agencies and institutions whose core business involves museum and heritage management, reflecting its potential to enhance governance, operational standards, and service delivery across the sector.
