Thousands of visitors flocked to the Exhibition Galleries of Balai Khazanah Islam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (BKISHHB) today, on the final day of the public opening of the Noble Hair of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ Chamber.
The Noble Hair of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ Room was opened to the public for six days, from 12 to 18 December, in conjunction with the reopening of the Exhibition Galleries of BKISHHB to the public.
For those who were unable to visit during this period, the Noble Hair of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ Chamber will next be opened to the public on 18 February 2023 in conjunction with Isra’ Mi’raj.
Meanwhile, the Exhibition Galleries of BKISHHB, comprising Gallery 1 to Gallery 9, will continue to welcome visitors daily from Saturday to Thursday, except Friday, from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
Admission tickets can be obtained from the BKISHHB ticket counter from 9.00 am to 3.00 pm.
Balai Khazanah Islam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah is a manifestation of the aspiration of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, to preserve the treasures of Islamic scholars by promoting their development through activities encompassing collection, preservation, study, exhibition, dissemination and research, as well as sharing the outcomes for the advancement of Islam and the Muslim community as a whole.
BKISHHB also serves as a “One Stop Islamic Tourism Destination.”
